The Lansing Promise Scholarship supports students who reside within the Lansing School District (LSD) boundaries, attend a high school within the LSD boundaries from grades 9 through 12, and graduate from a high school within the LSD boundaries. Eligible students may receive the full Lansing Promise Scholarship to support their postsecondary education and career goals.

Scholarship Benefits

• Up to $10,000 at Lansing Community College (LCC), including tuition, books, and course fees, to support completion of an associate degree, certificate, or credential.

• Up to $20,000 at a Lansing Promise-approved four-year university to assist with tuition and mandatory fees.

• Up to $10,000 at Douglas J Aveda Institute to complete a cosmetology, barbering, or esthiology licensing program.

• Financial assistance for approved skilled trades programs located within the State of Michigan.

• Access to college and career readiness resources, personal and professional development opportunities, and additional support services.
