The Lansing Promise Guarantee Scholarship supports students who reside within the Lansing School District (LSD) boundaries, have attended a high school within the LSD  boundaries for at least one full academic year, and graduate from a school within the LSD. Eligible students may receive up to $10,000 in financial support to help achieve their educational and career goals.

Scholarship Benefits

• Up to $10,000 at Lansing Community College (LCC), including tuition, books, and administrative/course fees, to support the completion of an associate degree, certificate, or credential.

• Up to $10,000 at Douglas J Aveda Institute to complete a cosmetology, barbering, or esthiology licensing program.

• Up to $10,000 at a Lansing Promise-approved four-year university to assist with tuition and mandatory fees.

• Financial assistance for approved skilled trades programs located within the State of Michigan.

• Access to college and career readiness resources, professional and personal development opportunities, mentorship, and additional support services.
